The IVY Bond rain shower set is a complete concealed set with a thermostatic mixer, 2-way diverter and a 30 cm round head shower. The set also includes a bar hand shower, a holder with outlet and a 150 cm shower hose. With the shower arm, the head shower is mounted in a fixed position above you. You choose from 7 finishes.
Pros and cons
- + Concealed thermostatic mixer for a stable water temperature
- + 2-way diverter to switch between head shower and hand shower
- + Round, slim 30 cm diameter head shower
- + Bar hand shower with 150 cm hose and holder with outlet
- + Flow rate class B, 13.7 litres per minute at 3 bar
- + Available in 7 colours and finishes
- − Concealed installation requires preparation in the wall, so it is less suitable if you want to replace it quickly
- − The set is operated with two handles, so there is no single-lever control
- − The head shower and hand shower each have only one spray pattern
Why choose this version?
With this set you get everything in one go: thermostatic mixer, diverter, head shower and hand shower in the same style. You can choose from Chrome, Matt black, Brushed nickel, Brushed gold, Brushed copper PVD, Brushed gunmetal PVD and Polished black PVD, so the set matches the rest of your bathroom taps.
Will it suit your shower wall?
The head shower has a diameter of 30 cm and the shower arm is 40 cm long. The installation depth of the concealed part is 9 cm, so take this into account in your wall. The shower hose is 150 cm long.
Installation and what you will need
This is a concealed set, so the concealed part is fitted into the wall before you tile or finish the wall. Then you mount the cover plates, the shower arm with head shower and the hand shower holder. If in doubt, have the concealed installation carried out by a plumber.
- Wall or tile finish around the concealed part
- Connections for cold and hot water
- Mounting materials for fixing to your wall
Maintenance
After showering, wipe the set with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh detergents, so that the finish stays in good condition. Descale the head shower regularly with a mild descaler following the instructions.
Check this before ordering
- Check that the installation depth of 9 cm fits your wall
- Choose the colour that matches the rest of your bathroom
- Check that the concealed part is suitable for your connection
- Check the article number and colour before ordering
