Description
Gekozen uitvoering: Colour: Chrome · Art.nr. CSB1CRCB
The IVY Bond rain shower set combines a surface-mounted thermostatic mixer with a round 25 cm overhead shower and a satin spray hand shower. Everything sits on one slide rail, so you get a complete shower set in one package. As it is a surface-mounted model, you do not need to install a concealed part in the wall.
Pros and cons
- + Thermostatic mixer for an adjustable water temperature
- + Round overhead shower with a diameter of 25 cm
- + Satin spray hand shower with a 150 cm hose
- + Slide rail so you can hang the hand shower at the height you want
- + Surface-mounted installation: no concealed part required
- + Water consumption of 13.7 litres per minute at 3 bar (flow rate class B)
- − A surface-mounted mixer is visible on the wall, so it cannot be combined with a fully concealed look
- − The overhead shower and hand shower each have one spray pattern only
Why choose this version?
The IVY Bond rain shower set is available in 7 finishes: Chrome, Brushed copper PVD, Brushed gunmetal PVD, Brushed nickel, Brushed gold, Matt black and Polished black PVD. This way you can choose the colour that matches your other taps and accessories. The round shapes of the overhead and hand shower give your bathroom a calm, cohesive look.
Will it fit your shower area?
The set is 140 cm high and the spout projects 38 cm. The overhead shower has a diameter of 25 cm and the hand shower hose is 150 cm long. Check that your shower area has enough space for these dimensions.
Installation and what else you need
This is a surface-mounted set: you fit the thermostatic mixer on the wall, so you do not need to install a concealed part. Check the hot and cold water connections in advance.
- Hot and cold water connections in the wall
- Drill and fitting tools
Maintenance
After showering, rinse the set and dry it with a soft cloth to prevent limescale marks. Clean with mild soapy water and avoid abrasive and aggressive cleaning products. If necessary, descale the overhead shower and hand shower with a mild descaler.
Check this before ordering
- Check that your wall connections are suitable for a surface-mounted thermostatic mixer
- Measure whether the projection of 38 cm and the total height of 140 cm fit in your shower area
- Choose the finish you want and check the article number for that version
