The IVY Bond rain shower set is a complete concealed shower with a concealed thermostatic mixer and 2 fixed stop valves. You get a round 20 cm head shower on a curved wall arm, plus a sliding rail with outlet and a bar hand shower with a 150 cm hose. The head shower is a medium version with 1 spray pattern. This gives you everything in one set for a sleek, built-in shower corner.
Pros and cons
- + Concealed thermostatic mixer for a stable water temperature
- + 2 fixed stop valves to control the head shower and hand shower separately
- + Round 20 cm head shower on a curved 40 cm wall arm
- + 80 cm sliding rail with outlet and bar hand shower with a 150 cm hose
- + Concealed part and rose included
- + Water consumption of 13.7 litres per minute at 3 bar (flow class B)
- − Concealed set: installation requires preparation in the wall and preferably a plumber
- − The head shower has 1 spray pattern and a diameter of 20 cm, so no adjustable spray patterns
Why choose this version?
This set contains everything needed for a complete rain shower, in a cohesive IVY design. You can choose from 7 finishes: Chrome, Matt Black, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gold, Brushed Copper PVD, Brushed Gunmetal PVD and Polished Black PVD. This means the set suits almost any bathroom style.
Does it fit your shower area?
The head shower has a diameter of 20 cm and hangs from a curved 40 cm wall arm. The sliding rail is 80 cm long and the hose is 150 cm. The installation depth is 9 cm, so check beforehand that your wall is deep enough for the concealed part.
Installation and what you still need
This is a concealed set: you fit the concealed part into the wall before tiling or finishing. Then you attach the cover plates, wall arm and sliding rail. We recommend having the water supply connection made by a plumber.
- A plumber or sufficient experience with concealed installation work
- Sealing material for the wall connections
Maintenance
After showering, wipe the set with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners, so that the finish stays beautiful. Descale the head shower and hand shower regularly to prevent limescale build-up.
Check this before ordering
- Check that your wall is deep enough for an installation depth of 9 cm
- Choose the finish that matches your other taps and accessories
- Check that the 40 cm wall arm and 20 cm head shower fit in your shower area
- Check that your water pressure and pipework are suitable for a concealed thermostatic mixer
