Product information

The Portus RD is a built-in bath that combines two shapes. The outer edge is straight, so you can install the bath flush and tile neatly all around. The basin is rounded: this round inner shape sits comfortably against the back and gives the bath a softer look than a fully angular model.

At 180 by 80 centimetres and a depth of 49 centimetres, the bath is spacious enough for two people to lie in. The waste sits exactly in the centre, so nobody lies with their back against the waste. The waste hole and overflow hole are both 53 mm; choose a suitable bath waste with overflow for these, as it is not supplied as standard.

Empty, the bath weighs approximately 28 kilos. This means two people can carry it to the bathroom without much effort and easily place it on the bath feet.

The bath is made of 3.5 mm sanitary acrylic, reinforced with two layers of polyester. Acrylic feels warm, keeps the bath water warm for longer and has a smooth, non-porous surface to which dirt and limescale do not easily adhere. Available in gloss white and matt white. You can keep both finishes looking good with a soft cloth and a mild cleaning agent; it is best to avoid abrasive cleaners.
