With the IVY Bond rain shower set, you can build a complete concealed shower in one go. The set consists of a concealed thermostatic mixer with 2-way diverter, a curved wall arm and a round 30 cm overhead shower. You also get a satin spray hand shower in a holder with outlet, with a 150 cm hose. You choose between the overhead shower and the hand shower, and set the temperature with the thermostat.
Pros and cons
- + Concealed thermostat to set the water temperature
- + 2-way diverter to switch between the overhead shower and the hand shower
- + Round 30 cm overhead shower with a 40 cm curved wall arm
- + Hand shower with satin spray in a holder with outlet
- + 150 cm hose, so a generous range of movement
- + Water consumption of 13.7 litres per minute at 3 bar (flow rate class B)
- − Concealed installation: the tap and pipework are built into the wall, so this is not a job for a quick refresh
- − The overhead shower has one spray type and one setting
Why choose this version?
This set is a complete solution with a calm, round design. The IVY Bond rain shower set is available in Chrome, Brushed copper PVD, Brushed gunmetal PVD, Brushed nickel, Brushed gold, Matt black and Polished black PVD. This way it suits any style and the rest of your bathroom taps.
Will the set fit your shower?
The overhead shower has a diameter of 30 cm and the wall arm is 40 cm long. Check that your shower area has enough space for these dimensions. The installation depth of the tap is 9 cm, so the wall needs to allow for this.
Installation and what else you need
The set is intended for concealed installation with the arm wall-mounted. Preferably have the concealed parts fitted by a plumber before you finish the wall.
- Hot and cold water connections in the wall
- Tools and sealing material for installation
Maintenance
After showering, wipe the tap and shower heads with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish. Descale the spray nozzles from time to time to prevent limescale build-up.
Check this before ordering
- Check that the 9 cm installation depth fits your wall
- Measure whether your shower area has room for a 30 cm overhead shower and a 40 cm arm
- Choose a finish that matches your other bathroom taps
- Check the water pressure of your system
